Pre-Travel Refund Policy

If, at any point, during the first two sessions of Pre-Travel soccer, a child or parent decides that they no longer wish to participate, a 50% refund of the registration cost will be issued. All requests must be made PRIOR to the third session. At any point on, or after, the third session, no refund will be granted.

Travel Refund Policy

The Club does not refund annual dues with three exceptions:

1- The parent(s) or guardian(s) of a player has experienced an economic hardship since payment of Club dues.

For purposes of this subsection of the Club Policies and Procedures, “economic hardship” is defined as a severe financial setback on the magnitude of the loss of employment or a substantial reduction in family income which must be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Executive Board. The Club will not consider the inability of parent(s) or guardian(s) to afford multiple youth activities as constituting the basis for a refund under this section.

The amount of the refund for economic hardship will depend on when the Executive Board receives the request. If the Executive Board receives the request prior to the start of the fall WYSL season, the Club will provide a 100% refund. If the Executive Board receives the request after the start of the fall WYSL season but before the start of the spring WYSL season, the Executive Board will provide a 50% refund. No refunds will be given once the spring WYSL season begins.

2- A player has sustained a medically determined physical injury or mental illness prior to the beginning of the WYSL season which prevents said player from participating in any games and practices for that season. For purposes of this subsection of the Club Policies and Procedures, the “WYSL season” is defined as either the beginning of the fall season of league play or the beginning of the spring season of league play, whichever is applicable. If the injury or illness occurs after the start of the WYSL season, the Club will not refund any portion of the dues.

The amount of the refund for a medical injury or illness will depend on when the Executive Board receives the request. If the Executive Board receives the request prior to the start of the fall WYSL season, the Club will provide a 100% refund. No refunds will be given if the request is received during the fall WYSL season. If the Executive Board receives the request after the end of the fall WYSL season but before the start of the spring WYSL season, the Executive Board will provide a 50% refund. No refunds will be given once the spring WYSL season begins.

3- A player registers and participates in what were advertised as tryouts to form two or more teams at that grade level (i.e., either tryouts for A and B teams or tryouts to form balanced teams) and, due to an insufficient number of players to form more than one team, the Executive Board authorizes the formation of one team with a roster in excess of 18 players.
