Coaching Requirements

Rye Brook Youth Soccer follows the guidelines of the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL) regarding coaching certification.  Coaches are required to complete the following requirements.  The full list can also be viewed on the WYSL website here.

1) WYSL Background Check

2) "SafeSport" US Club Soccer Injury Training

3) Disqualification/Suspension Review

4) WYSL Orientation

5) Licensing Course from USSF

6) Positive Coaching Alliance Course*

7) AED/CPR Training per Rye Brook Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (on hold due to Covid)

Please check with the Rye Brook Soccer President or Registrar prior to registering.

If you are interested in being a Head Coach or Assistant Coach please print out and complete the following Coaching Application and email it to Tony Paterno or drop off at his house, 12 Berkley Drive. You must also register online, in the same way that you register your child.
